It has snowed a lot this year! We haven't had as much as some places, Aunt Carolyn got 60 inches! Ty has just loved it though. Every chance he gets, he is in it. I try and tell him when we go out to the truck, "Don't get in the snow, your feet will get wet." And being three, does he listen? Not even a little. It is past his knees, so of course he gets a little wet! I don't know what it is about untouched snow though. I feel like he does sometimes. You can't just leave it untouched! There has to be some kind of print in it. So one Sunday after church, we went to make a snowman, but the snow was to dry; it wouldn't stick. So we went out back and made snow angels and just made tracks. We had fun. Then Maycee woke up, so we had to end it early. The snow would be past her waist! And of course I can't find boots that fit her tiny feet, so that was the end of our little footprints in the snow! We need to work on the front yard next...

Christmas madness!
Well I thought I had better update our blog before the next Christmas is come and gone! We had a great holiday season. We had a big Christmas party at Grandma Pam's(thanks Mom, It was great!). Every person in our family was there, and I got a picture. That was the first time ever that we've had a family photo with everyone in it! I was so excited. Not that it's going to be current in 9 months-Thanks Moo! We all opened presents and had yummy food. It was so fun just to be together.
We had 27 people there at one time (Great Grandma Davis and Aunt Di were there for a while). We all got spoiled! We had a great Christmas.

All of the cousins -there are 11 counting Ty and Maycee-had so much fun opening presents and seeing what everyone got.

Tyler is going to the Zoo!
Well...where to start. All I am going to say is I have a 3 year old that is acting like he belongs in the zoo. I think he could go live with the monkeys and be happy. He's lucky that it is Christmas time, because all I have to tell hime is I am calling Santa, and he usually stops his whining or fit throwing(for at least 5 minutes). He is rotten a lot!!! I sometimes don't know what to do! I think the zookeepers would send him right back, unfortunately, so we haven't gone to the extremes yet, but if you get a Christmas card with a bunch of monkeys on it, you'll know why!!! He's so smart too, and it's killin' me! He remembers everything I say or do and catches everything I didn't want him to. I can't believe it. I'm just lucky he can't read or spell yet. Maybe the elephants would be better...well we'll see if Santa actually makes it to our house this year!

Craft Show
My sister and I have now done our very first craft show! We've worked so hard, but still enjoy what we do (especially because we get to be together all the time!) We still have a lot of inventory, but we did well. We laughed until we were crying. It was nice to have 2 days that we could just spend together (kid-free--thanks Daddys!) And yes, the dads even survived, mostly! We learned lots, and we're hoping to continue our little business venture. Moo, I had a blast! I love you so much sister!

Halloween
What a glorious night...Hahaha!!! I'm so glad Halloween only comes one night a year. We have enough candy to last a lifetime. We only went trick-or-treating for 45 minutes, but both of the kids bags were full when we left. We went to our ward's trunk-or-treat (who ever thought of that is a wonderful person!) I think my kids were just the cutest ever though. Maycee really didn't mind getting all dressed up either.
I had to threaten Ty though so I could just get a picture. I told him I would give Maycee all his candy if he didn't put his costume back on and let me get a picture. That seemed to work well!!!
I'm glad they were ready to be done after 45 minutes. We had a great night. Daddy had to work, so we missed him, but he still got to see the kids in their costumes. (We took him dinner!) Good-bye Halloween, until next year!!!

Ty Ty River is gonna be 3
We were so thrilled to find out about Ty. After 6 pregnancy tests (no kiddin'), we found out we were having a baby!

He was our chubba bubba! Weighing in at 8lbs, 6ozs, we didn't worry too much about him being underweight!!!

And then time just flew by faster than we could have ever imagined!

Ty turned one...
Then he turned two...AAAHHH...

But words don't express what joy and hope he brings into our lives every day. "You're my bestest friend in the whole town forever." We love you so much Ty Ty River! Happy Birthday!

Roughin' it!
We bought a new camper this month, so we HAD to try it out! We went last weekend; the deer hunt was going on, but there weren't very many people. It was a little chilly! Yeah, if you look in the pics, there is snow!!! We had a blast though. Uncle Jakey went with us too. We had lots of fun despite the frigid temperature! Maycee and Ty really wanted to be outside all the time, but we didn't let them out much since it was so cold.
But the boys( Jake and Justin) had fun playing in the fire!
It doesn't matter how cold though, hotdogs, marshmallows, and pancakes always taste better on the mountain. Yeah we were in a trailer, but we were roughin' it!
