Maycee Rayn

Happy Birthday our little angel! Well we've made it past that one year milestone today! Maycee is now one. We can't believe all that has gone by this past year. It seems like my belly should still look like I swallowed a watermellon and it went the wrong direction.

You have been such a joy in our lives. We can't imagine it any other way. You are just the sweetest thing ever; even on our bad days you know just how to look at us or just what to do.

We love you so much and are so blessed you are in our family! Happy 1st Birthday Maycee Magoo!

Ty's tonsils

There is no more loud snoring--at least from downstairs--anymore. Ty's tonsils have been taken out!!! Dr. Catten, the ENT specialist here said Ty's tonsils were the biggest he's ever seen. He said if he were a fisherman, he would have called all his friends to tell them about the biggest fish he'd ever caught! After he had taken one tonsil out, he told everyone to look and he said there was such a difference! Dr. Catten didn't know how Ty made such big tonsils and how he was even breathing. So we're so glad to have them out. Now I have to check on him every so often because I can't hear him snore! When the anathesiologist-yeah I can't spell-took Ty he said, "Give your mom a kiss." Ty leaned over to kiss him!!! It was so funny. He's done so well. He's been quite the trooper. He was really mad when he woke up after surgery, but he had the right. He didn't want anything though. He didn't want a popcicle, he didn't want juice, he didn't want me, he didn't want Grandma Pam, he didn't want his IV in, he didn't want the oxygen thing on his toe, he didn't want his clothes on, and he didn't want to go home. It was so sad to see him disoriented, but such a blessing to have them out. The Loritab makes him a little wild, but he's just wonderful. Oh and he sounds like Papa Smirf!!! I hope his little voice comes back, but if not, we'll just be happy he is better!

Super Guy

This is my Super Guy.

I overheard Ty and my neice playing one day. Tori said, "I'm supergirl," and proceeded to jump off the couch. A few seconds later I heard Ty "I'm Super Guy!" I think it's so funny that he wasn't super man or super boy. He is Super Guy! So I made him a Super Guy cape and he loves it. He truely is my Super Guy. He can always make me laugh. We have so much fun together. He sometimes has to save me when I'm having a bad day and Daddy isn't handy! I love my Super Guy!

Memories

I left a memory on someone else's page so I guess that means I need to post this on mine. Feel free to participate if you wish.
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I or Justin had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you...

Family Pictures

We got our family pictures taken (finally) today. We had a lot of fun even if Ty and Maycee didn't want to participate! Justin and I had to bribe them a little, but we made it through. I don't know how we got blessed with such beautiful children. They are our pride and joy. Our lives would never be complete without them. Our ultimate joy is with each other as well. We are so blissfully happy! We look forward to our future as an eternal family.

I think I'll survive

Okay, I know I lasted a lot longer when Justin went to Boot Camp, but he is gone for 2 weeks to AT-Annual Training-and I think I'm going to run away already. He's been gone for 2 whole days, and I feel crazy. I think every mom does, and I can't even tell those single moms how much I think they're crazier than me. I don't know how they do it! I think both kids were waiting for him to leave and then they planned their attack! Maycee has been cranky about her teeth. Ty's tonsils are the size of basketballs (not really, but you get the point!) And that makes him a bear times 200. To top it all off the new book Breaking Dawn came out and I'm so sleep deprived from staying up way too late reading that I could fall asleep in my cereal every morning. But I know we're tough and we'll be fine while Justin is gone. It just sucks!!!
