Ty's River

Today we went for a ride up to the Green River. It is the river we named Ty after. It is our favorite place in the whole world. There is just something about it. When we're up there, it feels like there isn't a care in the world, just you and the river. When we're up at the river, I can understand why in the scriptures on the mountain was like being at the temple. It is so amazing there. It is hard to explain if you've never stood at the edge of the river and looked in at the green, rushing water. It is truly my sanctuary.

Is Justin trying to look all tough in a short-sleeve shirt? Or is he just punishing himself? I love the frozen falls...I always love seeing those...my favs to see are the bridal falls in Provo Canyon (I think that's what they're called).

Oh Holly! I totally agree. The Green River is a beautiful place full of great memories. I've been reading some Wordsworth poetry and he talks about nature in such a beautiful way. In fact, I'm just getting ready to blog about it. Thanks for sharing that. I felt the peace of the place just by reading your words and seeing the pics. Love you guys!!
